The BBC show Bang Goes The Theory staged an experiment where a house was powered for a day by 80 cyclists. They were all hidden away on banks of stationary bikes (each attached to a dynamo) and looked like modern day galley slaves. Here's an excerpt from the show:- news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/8394055.stmThe family in the house had no idea where the power was coming from but the cyclists could watch them going about their day. It was funny to hear the cyclists moan when they saw the kettle or shower about to be used as they had to put in a lot of effort at those times. The whole show is currently still available on BBC iplayer:- www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00p8469/Bang_Goes_the_Theory_The_Human_Power_Station/Just think what 119 YOGi's could do!
